Eyebrow threading is a form of epilation. The process removes the entire hair, including the root, rather than cutting it. A thin cotton or polyester thread is doubled in threading, and then twisted. It is then rolled over regions of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle stage. Unlike tweezing, where single hair is pulled out one at a moment, threading can remove short hair rows.
